Lawler’s Finishing Move Banned?
Reported by Keelan Balderson on 04/01/2011
Unless he is granted special permission, Jerry “The King” Lawler will not be able to use his legendary piledriver finishing move at Wrestlemania, because it’s on WWE’s banned moves list. Although variations of the move have generally been limited to certain stars like Kane and the Undertaker, it was officially banned due to internal worries about concussions after the Benoit tragedy. Lawler still has the middle-rope fist drop as a signature. |
