How Much 'Reality' Will Tough Enough Display?

The format for the return of Tough Enough will have a more "reality style" than previous seasons, which ironically means much more phony drama and scripted segments.
The contestants will still reside in a house, but like other shows cell phones and computers were taken away on arrival to make them isolated from the outside world. The internal dramas between housemates will be hammed up.
Although Tough Enough is often credited with helping to create the reality genre and was the inspiration for shows like The Ultimate Fighter, this time around it's said to be aiming for a more generalized auidence. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the show is being described as more "Hogan Knows Best" than "Ultimate Fighter." |
